Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Yaroslavl Medical Institute in 1994. From 1994 to 1995, internship in surgery, then clinical residency in surgery on the basis of the Yaroslavl Regional Clinical Hospital, from 1997 to 2000, postgraduate student of the Department of Surgery of the FPC and PPSZ YSMA. In 1999 he defended his PhD thesis. Since 2000 - assistant of the same department. Since 2005, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery of the FPDO. From 2006 to the present - Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Yaroslavl Regional Clinical Hospital. Since 2007, under his leadership, the first open heart surgeries under cardiopulmonary bypass and off-pump have been started. From 2011 to the present - Head of the Department of Surgery, EITI.

Candidate of Medical Sciences (since 1999), Doctor of Medical Sciences (since 2015). In the academic rank of associate professor, he was approved in 2006.

Author of 94 scientific and 4 educational works, 3 inventions. Prepared 1 candidate of medical sciences.

Main areas of scientific and professional interests: Cardiac surgery: coronary heart disease surgery, surgery for complicated forms of coronary artery disease, thoracic and abdominal aorta surgery, brachiocephalic artery surgery, single-stage reconstructive surgeries, repeated reconstructive interventions, hybrid cardiovascular surgery. Performs a wide range of operations on the coronary arteries, aorta, branches of the aortic arch, visceral branches and peripheral vessels.

Cardiovascular surgeon of the highest category. Co-author of the national guide to angiology and vascular surgery, edited by Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences A.V. Pokrovsky. Annually makes presentations at conferences of regional, Russian and international levels.
